Last Sunday 24th May I had the pleasure of photographing Chloe & Steven at the beautiful Aldwickbury Park Golf Club where they will be having their wedding reception later this month. We met for their pre wedding shoot which is a great opportunity to explore the venue and find out what works best and what the bride and groom like the most. The grounds offer stunning backdrops for portratits and the building has been extended in recent years providing a superb wedding venue.
I got there early to scout out the grounds for good photo opportunities and was escorted around in a golf buggy to see the best locations – being driven around also stopped me getting in the way of anyones game of golf or getting hit by any stray balls! At Top Photography we pride ourselves on our personal attention to detail and feel it only right to put in some extra preparation time, after all you are entrusting one of the most important days of your life to us.
Chloe, Steven and I had a meeting at the 19th hole to discuss the finer details and timings of their big day, during which it started to rain to such an extent it looked like fog! Thankfully by some miracle as the meeting ended the rain stopped and we enjoyed soft lighting through the clouds during their pre wedding shoot, the timing was uncanny!
We then went out in two golf buggys and revisited the best locations getting some cracking photos along the way. The avenue of trees being a favourite, but also the large vistas as backdrops were gorgeous.
The shoot was a happy occasion, Chloe and Steven were very relaxed in front of the camera and I was able to capture some natural poses that showed their fun and loving relationship. I am so excited to be taking pictures at their wedding later this month and their pre wedding shoot has ensured that the day will be seamless.
Chloe & Steven were kind enough to give us their feedback on their Pre Wedding shoot and we were delighted at their response…. Thank you so much.
Hi Sam, just wanted to thank you and John for Sunday! We had so much fun, I laughed so much I cried! John was such a lovely guy and really made us both feel relaxed! It was a great afternoon and we can’t wait to see the pics! John picked some wonderful scenes and I am confident our big day is going to be captured beautifully. John had already been on a golf buggy around the course and knew exactly where he wanted to go, it was just seamless apart from me and Steve being unable to have a romantic pose! Thanks Chloe.
